Butternut Valley Nature Center offers resources for the teachers to use in the classroom. Included with each lesson plan describing our field trip activities is a section called "Bringing it to the Classroom". This section provides ideas for the teacher to follow up his or her trip to BVNC in the classroom. The suggestions are relevant to the material presented during the field trip, thus making an opportunity for the event to be more meaningful and memorable for the students.
